Worship Leader - Lexy Adams
Lexy Adams is a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Mulberry and is grateful to serve in the place she calls home. She is passionate about worship and believes in its power to draw people closer to God. Leading worship is one of her greatest joys. Outside of church, Lexy teaches kindergarten and loves pouring into young hearts throughout the week.
Angel grew up in church and has been involved in ministry from a young age. When she was student, Angel spent many summers teaching 5-Day Clubs with Child Evangelism Fellowship. These experiences helped shape her love for serving and investing in young people. Youth ministry matters deeply to Angel because she believes we are never too young to know God more or to be a witness for Him.
One of Angel’s favorite Bible verses is Isaiah 41:13: “For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, ‘Fear not, I am the one who helps you’.” This verse holds special meaning for her because of a moment in high school when her tennis coach reminded her, “Angel, this is two against one,” before quoting Isaiah 41:13. This verse has stuck with her because no matter what hard thing we are facing, God is with us two against one! She aims to help our youth hold onto the character of who God is, know they are always supported, encouraged, and never alone.
Some fun facts about Angel: she lives in Mulberry and is a proud dog mom to a sweet Lab mix named Muffin. Muffin keeps life exciting! She works at Publix and is currently working toward her master’s degree at the University of Florida. When she’s not busy with work or school, Angel loves spending quality time with her family and friends. She enjoys being outdoors whenever she can. Angel is a fan of going to Disney and her favorite ride there is Guardians of Galaxy.
