What Is Operation Christmas Child?
Operation Christmas Child is a meaningful outreach that allows our church family to share the love of Jesus with children around the world. Each year, we collect a variety of items to pack into shoeboxes that are sent to children in need across the globe. These shoeboxes are more than gifts—they are a tangible reminder that each child is loved, valued, and not forgotten.
We also encourage families to pack shoeboxes together at home, making Operation Christmas Child a wonderful opportunity to teach children about generosity, compassion, and sharing God’s love with others.
Why It Matters
For many children receiving a shoebox gift, this is the first gift they have ever received, and it opens doors for local churches to share God’s love with families in their own communities. Beyond the joy of giving, these gifts are accompanied by the Gospel and often lead to discipleship opportunities through a follow-up program called The Greatest Journey, where children learn what it means to follow Jesus and grow in faith.

Please join us in prayer—for the children who will receive these boxes, for the volunteers who pack and distribute them, and that each gift would open hearts to the Gospel.
